From Tuesday 21st to Thursday 23rd May, from 9am - 6pm, a new space will be open in the centre of Clerkenwell, the district of London, which, in recent years, has seen the opening of many showrooms belonging to some leading international design and furniture brands, as well as various renowned studios of architecture. Their presence at Clerkenwell Design Week is thanks to collaboration with two major British brands in the office accessories segment: Simplicity, a producer of cabinets and storage units, and Era, a company specialised in screens.
Organised as a large open space, the London-based showroom displays various layouts that offer just as many ways of furnishing office and working spaces, with furniture solutions offered by Sinetica and versatile collections from Sitland.
Three different contexts skilfully combine the furniture of the two brands according to the distinctive spirit of the Group and under the slogan "Smart your Life". The colours chosen for the various furnishings range from earthy yellow to natural brown for wood finishes and darker and more elegant shades of black and blue.
The Sinetica office features an elegant Glamour executive desk, with a matt black top and black painted aluminium legs that perfectly combine with the chairs in the Captain Line collection, designed by Baldanzi&Novelli, in a version with black leather upholstery and a polished aluminium base on castors.
In the meeting room, the large Stay table, designed by the architect Paolo Mantero, is presented with a birch-effect melamine top, combined with office chairs in the Captain Play collection with a white polypropylene structure, an elegant dark blue Kvadrat fabric cushion and polished metal legs.
The Captain Play chairs by Sinetica – designed by Baldanzi&Novelli - are available in various finishes, with options for customisation in order to adapt to any type of work environment, from the most classic and elegant to the most dynamic and contemporary. Sturdy yet also playful, the Spot pouf has a soft seat for a more comfortable and less formal work environment. It can also be fully customised with a variety of upholstery in fabric or leather, and is available in various shapes and sizes.
Furniture by Sitland is featured in the adjoining space: a waiting room with a two-seater sofa and the Cell72 armchair, and a co-working space, where the Cell128 chair allows you to find a soft private corner in which to relax. The chairs in the Cell collection are upholstered in elegant Kvadrat fabric, dark blue for the Cell72 chair and warm ochre yellow for the Cell128 chair. This space is complemented with a total white Tov occasional table.
Sitland will also present the Joy pouf in London, in a version with and without castors, in an elegant two-tone dark blue/ochre yellow version upholstered in Kvadrat fabric. It will be matched with the innovative multipurpose UseMe occasional table, winner of a Good Design Award and a Red Dot Design Award. The extremely delicate Fil table, with steel legs and an elegant light-coloured wood top, is a hybrid furnishing accessory, the perfect complement to a waiting room, an office or even a home environment.
The Milos collection by Sitland will be proposed in all its versions: upholstered in a delicate green colour with armrests and black polished metal base on castors, ideal for the office; an elegant version with dark brown leather upholstery and black polished metal legs; a version with fabric upholstery, armrests and white painted metal legs; a version with black leather upholstery and light-coloured wood legs, the ideal combination even for a residential context.
